Fulhadhoo Marathon - Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
1.2 By registering for the Event, participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Participants must be at least 18 years old on the day of the Event.
2.2 Minors may participate in the Mini-Marathon (4.2 km) with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
2.3 Participants must be in good health and physically capable of completing the Event.
3. Registration and Fees
3.1 Registration must be completed online through available channels by the deadline specified.
3.2 Entry fees are non-refundable.
3.3 Registration is only valid once payment has been successfully processed.
4. Race Rules and Conduct
4.1 Participants must wear their assigned bib numbers, t-shirts or long sleeves and shorts / skirts of non-revealing nature at all times during the race.
4.2 Any form of cheating, including but not limited to, cutting the course or using unauthorized assistance, will result in disqualification.
4.3 Participants must follow instructions from race officials and volunteers.
5. Safety and Medical Assistance
5.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically prepared for the race.
5.2 The Organizer reserves the right to withdraw any participant deemed unfit to continue.
5.3 Participants must inform officials immediately if they experience any medical distress.
6. Event Cancellation and Changes
6.1 The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify the Event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, extreme weather, natural disasters, or safety concerns.
6.2 In case of cancellation, no refunds will be issued.
6.3 The Organizer may alter the course, start time, or other logistical details if necessary.
7. Liability Waiver
7.1 Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with long-distance running.
7.2 The Organizer, sponsors, and associated parties shall not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur before, during, or after the Event. Upon collection of their bibs, Participants have to sign Waiver and Release of Liability.
7.3 Participants are responsible for their own personal insurance coverage and produce sufficient evidence when requested.
8. Data Protection and Media Consent
8.1 By registering participants agree to the collection and processing of their personal data for race administration purposes.
8.2 The Organizer may use photographs, video footage, and other media from the Event for promotional purposes.
8.3 Participants who do not wish to appear in media content must notify the Organizer in writing before the race.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1 Participants must respect fellow runners and volunteers, at all times.
9.2 Any behaviour deemed unsportsmanlike or indecent, including harassment or abuse, will result in disqualification.
9.3 Littering along the racecourse is strictly prohibited.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Any disputes related to the Event will be reviewed by the Organizer, and their decision shall be final.
10.2 Any legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish law.
